This course provides interactive online tutoring designed to meet the unique needs and goals of each student. Students may purchase one or more 30-minute blocks of time — and may make repeat, future purchases as desired. All Cue Tutor sessions will be conducted via conveniently scheduled Zoom video conference meetings with Cue College certified Cue Tutor professionals.
An ideal use of Cue Tutor would be to purchase 3 blocks of time and schedule your 3 sessions to serve as mutually-agreed-upon, predetermined checkpoints within the CS100 self-study course. It is our experience that with personalized guidance, feedback, and encouragement, students are more likely to successfully complete the course and achieve their own personal goals for learning to cue!
Once a student purchases Cue Tutor services, the student will receive an email from Cue College announcing that the student has been enrolled in our Canvas course, “CT100 – Cue Tutor”. The student will follow instructions in the enrollment email to log in to Canvas to begin his/her Cue Tutor course.
The student’s first assignment will be to complete a “Getting Started Questionnaire”. The information thus gathered will be used to assign the student to an appropriate “Section” of the CT100 – Cue Tutor course. Each Section will be led by one of our certified professional Cue Tutors.
Once the Questionnaire has been completed, the student will receive an email from Cue College announcing his or her enrollment in a specific Section of CT100. The student will log into his or her newly assigned Canvas course Section and, using Canvas scheduling tools, schedule Office Hours with his/her Cue Tutor.
During the first tutoring session, the Tutor will conduct a “Needs Assessment” and work with the student to create a customized tutoring plan by adapting our official Cue College tutoring curriculum to the student’s own individual needs and goals. Students may wish to purchase 1-3 blocks of time, then re-evaluate and purchase more, if and when they are needed.
