POLICIES REGARDING REFUNDS, CANCELATIONS, or RESCHEDULING, and COMPLAINTS

Refund and Complaint Resolution Policies for Cue College:

(a) In the event of Course Cancellation or Rescheduling:

  1. In the event that Cue College, the provider, cancels or reschedules an Instructor-Led meeting via Zoom video conferencing, Cue College will make reasonable efforts to notify participants as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation or rescheduling. Communication will be sent via email provided by the participant during the registration process.

(b) Returns and Refund of Fees for Participant Cancellations:

  1. All sales are final. If a physical product is defective, we will replace it with the same product or provide store credit.
  2. Participants who wish to cancel their enrollment in a Cue College course must do so at the time of processing their order before submitting payment.  Once the course has been purchased, it is immediately available to the customer and an outright refund would not be appropriate.
  3. However, Cue College reserves the right to review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis and may, at its sole discretion, consider refunds outside of the stated guidelines.

(c) Resolution of Complaints:

  1. Cue College is committed to providing high-quality continuing education services/courses. If an individual is not satisfied with the services/courses provided, they may submit a complaint to Cue College’s administrative staff at info@cuecollege.org. Individuals can also contact Cue College by clicking on a specific product/course with Questions, Suggestions, or Feedback:  Contact Cue Store
  2. Complaints should be submitted in writing via email, clearly describing the nature of the complaint and providing any supporting documentation, if applicable.
  3. Cue College will acknowledge the receipt of the complaint within 3 business days and initiate an investigation to resolve the issue promptly.
  4. Cue College will strive to address complaints within 10 business days of receiving the written complaint. However, complex complaints or those requiring additional information may take longer to resolve. In such cases, Cue College will provide regular updates to the complainant regarding the progress of the investigation and resolution.
  5. If the complaint is found to be valid, Cue College will take appropriate measures to rectify the issue, which may include, but are not limited to, offering a refund, rescheduling a program, or providing alternative educational opportunities.
  6. If the complainant is not satisfied with the resolution provided by Cue College, they may escalate the complaint to the appropriate regulatory or oversight bodies, as applicable.

When purchasing ALL products/services, an individual must read the Terms and Conditions before submitting an order.  These policies are clearly stated in the Cue College Terms and Conditions on the website to ensure transparency and provide participants with a clear understanding of Cue College’s refund and complaint resolution procedures.

Cue College Resource Licensing Policy

Cue College and its contributing Vendors own the Resources sold in the Cue Store and give you certain rights to use them for limited purposes. This section describes the agreement between you and Cue College, and lets you know what uses of the Resources you purchase in Cue Store are acceptable.

IN GENERAL

Cue College and its Vendors maintain the intellectual property rights in their Resources and grant our customers Licenses to use such Resources for limited use as described in this section. When you purchase a Resource, whether it is a course, a physical product, or a downloadable product, you are purchasing a License to use the Resource in accordance with the terms of this Resource Licensing Policy.

Your use of any Resource, regardless of whether the license is purchased by you, transferred to you by your Organization, or purchased for you as a gift or on your behalf by another individual or other entity, is subject to this Resource Licensing Policy and other terms set forth in the product descriptions of each course or other product purchased. By purchasing Cue College’s and its Vendors’ products, you agree to comply with the terms of this Resource Licensing Policy.

SPECIFIC TERMS FOR PURCHASES OF INDIVIDUAL LICENSE(S)

Any purchases of physical or downloadable Resources in Cue Store, including Cue College online courses, will be governed by the following Terms and Conditions.

Except as otherwise stated in these Terms (such as in the “Limitations on Access” section set forth below), with the purchase of an Individual License, Cue College and its Vendors grant to the customer, for use by one user, a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, worldwide, limited license to use the Resource for the purposes and under the conditions described below.

If you purchase an Individual License, Cue College and its Vendors permit you to:

  • Assign use of the Resource to one Assignee. Once an Assignee has been designated, the license cannot be used by any other individual, but you can purchase additional licenses as needed. For clarity, you can purchase an Individual License for yourself, as a gift for another person, or as an Organization purchasing on behalf of a customer or employee. In such cases, a single “transfer” of the Resource to the intended recipient Assignee is permitted, but you may not reallocate an Individual License from one Assignee to another or share the Resource with additional users unless you purchase additional licenses for each additional Assignee.
  • If you would like to purchase a “Group License” for one or more of our courses or downloadable products, please contact us to set up a special discounted price for an agreed-upon number of Licenses.  Each of the individuals who download the product(s) under the Group License purchase will be bound by the same terms that govern our Individual Licenses, as described in this Resource Licensing Policy.

As an Assignee of an Individual License, Cue College and its Vendors permit you to:

  • Use the Resource for personal, educational, instructional, and therapeutic use only (“Personal Use”). This means you can use Resources for your own personal purposes, for your individual study, and (except for Cue College Courses) to teach or help others.  In the case of a license to use a Cue College Course for a specified period of time, you may, during the specified time period, use the course only for your individual study.  If you wish to use the course to instruct others, you must contact Cue College to arrange for purchase of a Group License.
  • Print downloadable Resources for Personal Use. Hard goods and video resources may not be copied, shared, or otherwise reproduced.  If multiple copies of any product are needed, multiple Individual Licenses must be purchased.

LIMITATIONS ON ACCESS

Cue College courses have term limits:

  • Cue College Courses are only accessible to enrollees for a specified period of time or “term.”  The term for which a course will be available after a license (enrollment) is purchased will be clearly defined in the product description provided at the time of purchase or, in the case of a Group License arranged by special contract with the purchaser, the term will be specified in the contract.
  • Once the term of the course is ended, access to the course via Canvas (the Cue College learning management system) will automatically be terminated.  Customers who wish to continue learning may purchase enrollment in another term of the course.
  • In some cases, where courses are “self study” and are set up to accommodate enrollment at any time during the term of the course, access to these special courses after the advertised end of the term may still be permitted via our Canvas system in order to ensure that each customer who enrolled mid-term gets the full promised period of access. As long as the Canvas system permits access, customers are allowed to continue to use any given course.

Unless otherwise expressly permitted by Cue College or its Vendors:

  • You may not upload Resources to websites, applications, shared drives or other sites or services in a way that enables access by anyone other than the Assignee of the Individual License.
  • You may not use the Resource, in part or in whole, for commercial purposes.  This means you cannot sell it, charge any fees for sharing it with others, use it for advertising or marketing purposes, or use it in another way in connection with a business or profit-making activity.
  • You may not share, send, sell, sublicense, or transfer the Resource to someone else for their own Personal Use unless you purchase an additional license for each additional individual you will share it with.  Each Individual License is for use by one specific individual only.
